This diminutive Scottish sampler is inscribed with the name Eliza Kinross and initials on each side of a fruit basket. We just love this quaint little verse! Alphabet styles lie in rows across the top, with bands of stitches dividing the rows and the verse.

Size (W x H): 5 1/2 x 8 3/4 inches

Stitches: Cross, double running, four sided, eyelet and back

Genealogy:

We believe that Eliza(beth) Kinross was the daughter of John Kinross and Isabell Gibson and was born 21 December 1821 in St. Quivox Parish, Ayr.
