Gellie Sisters

Margaret and Elizabeth are the youngest children of John Gellie and Elizabeth Leask. John and Elizabeth were married 16 September 1797 in Gamrie, Banff. Older brothers Stuart and John, born 1798 and 1800 respectively, were born in Gamrie before the family moved to the small farming community of Danshillock, about two miles from King Edward, Aberdeenshire. The distance between Gamrie and Danshillock is less than 10 miles.
